Judy Horacek is an Australian cartoonist, writer and illustrator. She has been drawing cartoons for about twelve years now and has worked for a multitude of community groups, unions, small magazines and good causes.
Her work is often concerned with feminism, the environment and social justice issues. Six collections of her cartoons have been published: Life on the EdgeUnrequited Love, Woman with Altitude, Lostin Space and If the fruit fits. Major retrospective exhibitions of her work have been held at the National Gallery of Victoria, the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. She has also had numerous solo and group exhibitions of her cartoons and her prints.
Her latest books for Penguin include The Story of Growl, These Are My Hands, These Are My Feet and, most recently, Yellow is My Favourite Colour.
